Cultivate Health at Home with Qigong

Did you know there are 8 modalities of Chinese Medicine?  Acupuncture, Herbs, Cupping, Gua Sha, and Moxibustion are the five that I serve my patients with on a daily basis at Energy Flow Health.  But Qigong, or Qi Gong as it can be written, is just as important and effective for taking care of yourself and promoting health.

Unfortunately, I have not yet in my lifetime had time to delve into the practice of qigong, which literally translates to cultivating life force.   Lucky for us, we have my friend and colleague, the dynamic, smart, and skillful Dr. Khanita Suvarnasuddhi (in photo above) of Araya Health Academy!  She has been practicing qigong for years and has graciously committed her time and energy to creating an online course so that her patients and anyone anywhere can learn and practice qigong for health.

What is qigong and why should you practice it?

Qigong is an ancient healing art-science where you utilize specific breathing patterns and techniques to strengthen your own internal energy.

It is free, anyone who can breathe can do it, and it is definitely time-tested.  The history of it’s practice extends more than 4,000 years!

Please click here to access Dr. Khanita’s self-paced online course.  She has a free intro 5-day challenge if you want to get a taste of what it’s like, but I do encourage investing in the Five Elements Qigong Course – very affordable, very worth it!

Just added! Dr Khanita has new videos up on YouTube – I highly encourage you to check them out!! Here’s the Eight Brocades qigong, and here’s the Five Elements.

These exercises are gentle, and a great way to start or end your day.  They’re especially good for calming anxiety and for relieving joint and muscle stiffness.
